From a very early age, I dreamt of becoming an artist. I yearned to inspire hope, healing, and happiness in the world--all things I never felt during my own turbulent childhood. In fifth-grade, drawing became a catalyst for processing all that was frightening and difficult in my life. After much trial and error, and many years later, I began to create watercolor, acrylic, and digitally painted images to create whimsical and inspirational designs, which I now license for fabric, homeware, gift, and puzzle markets. Designs for fabric are my favorite to create; I love telling stories with my characters! I own a shop in Utah where I share my love of traditional arts like quilting, hand applique and embroidery. Hearkening back to my early childhood dreams of inspiring hope, healing, and happiness, I enjoy seeing my students blossom and grow in their creative endeavors as they discover their own inherent talents and abilities.
